  1. GREAT list. I would also add: Don’t think you’re going to change the world. Just focus on giving these children a picture of how a healthy, functional family looks so that one day they can break the cycle their family has likely been in for generations. That takes off a lot of pressure… but if you can do that at the VERY LEAST, you have done something tremendous.

  2. This really made me feel better about my laundry pile. It seems when I’m finally almost done, it starts all over. Not to mention the clean clothes stays in the basket until it’s worn half of the time. Yes… I’m in love with my foster kids. They are amazing! I have 3 boys, ages 6, 9 and 10. A little less than 2 months now.
